Part-time Virtual Assistant for eCommerce Crafting Site

Overview

Looking for a creative, passionate, and, self-motivated person to join me as a Virtual Assistant! This is a part-time, 100% work from home position; 3-5 hrs per week with opportunity for more as we grow.  Flexible schedule on any North American timezone. Set your own hours as long as deadlines are met. Position will be long term, but always part-time for the right candidate. A tech-savvy crafter who is familiar with Cricut, Silhouette, or other cutting machines would be an ideal candidate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create digital product listings on WooCommerce site – Upload images, write brief sales copy, meta descriptions (will train you)
  • Schedule Blog post content.
  • Schedule digital product listings on additional online marketplaces
  • Keep product SKU sheet updated in Google Docs
  • Schedule Social Media posts -share new products, sales, and other announcements (we will train you)
  • Light Copywriting / content writing for social media & product listings, with a fun and playful voice.
  • Research Social Media hashtags / SEO keywords (we will train you)
  • Additional website backend scheduling & organization tasks as needed
  • Must be available for weekly check-ins ideally during business hours of 9 am – 3 pm ET.

Employment Status

This is a virtual, work from home, independent contractor position (1099). Position is part-time 3-5 hours per week with opportunity for more hours as we grow. $15 -$17 hr DOE  Work time is flexible as long as you meet deadlines for content creation and delivery. You must provide your own computer and reliable internet. You are responsible for your own taxes and insurance.

Qualifications:

  • Attentive to detail, organized, self motivated
  • Excellent writing skills, including spelling & grammar.
  • Can self-manage and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fast learner with ability to learn new computer / software skills
  • Tech-savvy / social media savvy
  • Capable of navigating backend of multiple online marketplace platforms including WooCommerce.
    Website / eCommerce experience (more specifically WordPress WooCommerce) a Plus
  • Basic understanding of SEO and image optimization a Plus
  • Experience with digital designs, WooCommerce, Google Suites programs, social media platforms (Facebook, -Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest), design software (including AI, Silhouette Studio, Cricut Design Space) helpful, but not required.
  • Understanding of die cutting machines (Cricut Silhouette, Brother Scan N Cut) are very helpful.
