HireMyMom is a job platform connecting small businesses directly with talented virtual professionals across the country. Whether a small business is seeking a virtual assistant, accountant, writer, digital marketing specialist, operations manager, customer service support, or any other role, they can post their job on the platform for job seekers to apply directly to.

Unlike other staffing or job sites, HireMyMom is not an agency and does not take any commissions or percentages from either party. The platform simply allows the two parties to connect and charges a nominal fee for that service. Furthermore, many small businesses today are seeking candidates in or near their time zone who are familiar with and accustomed to US business culture, and HireMyMom is uniquely geared to those in N. America.

About Our Founder

Lesley Pyle founded HireMyMom.com in 2007 with a strong desire to help moms find legitimate work from home. Unlike the mega career sites, HireMyMom.com focuses strictly on home-based jobs and projects that work perfectly for today’s modern mom.

“I consider Hire My Mom more of a boutique website. Our goal is to help professional women find flexible, legitimate, home-based work while helping small businesses hire talented virtual team members and freelancers at the same time. Flexibility is the number one benefit many women today are looking for. Businesses, on the other hand, are looking for affordable, quality talent to help them grow and flourish. HireMyMom.com simply brings them together to find the perfect solution for both”, says Pyle.

Pyle was also the founder of HomeBasedWorkingMoms.com (HBWM.com), which she founded in 1995 after the birth of her first child. Pyle is considered one of the pioneers of the work-at-home mom movement and has over 20 years of experience in this area. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Texas State University. She received a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Stirling in Scotland while on a full academic scholarship from Rotary International as an Ambassador of Goodwill.

Pyle has been featured in numerous publications, including Forbes, Entrepreneur, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Home Office Computing, Parenting, Business Start-Ups, Dr. Laura’s Perspectives, Family PC, and many others. Pyle has been working from home for over 25 years. She resides in Texas with her husband and has four children, one son-in-law and one grandson.
